Patio & Lanai Enclosures
Patio, Lanai & Porch Screen Enclosures in Marion County, FL

Whether you call it a lanai, a screened patio, a screened-in porch, or a screen room, Browning’s Aluminum builds and rebuilds them across Marion County and Central Florida. Veteran-owned, BBB A+ accredited, and built by our in-house crew with no subcontractors. Serving Ocala, The Villages, Belleview, Summerfield, Dunnellon, and the surrounding communities for over 10 years.

Most lanai and patio jobs fall into one of two buckets: a brand-new screen enclosure on an existing covered space, or a rescreen of an existing lanai or patio where the screens have aged or been damaged. We do both, and we tell you which fits your project on the free estimate.

LET'S GET STARTED
Need a screened lanai or patio?

Most Marion County lanais use 6005-T5 or 6063 aluminum extrusions in bronze, white, or gray. Mesh options include standard 18×14 fiberglass, no-see-um (20×20) for waterfront and wooded properties, super-screen pet-resistant mesh with about 7× the tear strength of standard, and solar shade screen for west-facing patios. We can mix mesh types — pet screen on lower panels, standard up top.

Common add-ons: pet doors, kick plates to protect screens from chairs and pets, soffit lighting pre-wires, and pavers or deck refresh under the new screen room. We’ll talk through what fits your project during the free estimate.

Why Choose Brownings for Screened Lanais

A poorly built lanai screen tears in the first storm, sags within a year, or leaves gaps where bugs get through. A properly framed screen room with the right aluminum extrusions, tensioned mesh, and clean attachment to the home’s soffit lasts decades and keeps the porch usable year-round.

Brownings Aluminum builds lanais the right way: in-house crew start to finish, factual estimates with no pressure, and a final walkthrough before we leave. Rescreens typically run 1–3 days; new screen enclosures on existing covered spaces run 1–2 weeks.

Just had Browning’s come out and install gutters on our new construction home. They turned out great! Install looks clean and they were able to match my house color perfectly. Had an amazing experience from start to finish with this company. Super reliable and friendly. Never had any issues with communication and was kept updated on every step of this process, from the office staff and the install team. Definitely recommend to everyone!

I would definitely recommend Browning’s Aluminum and Screen Repair! They’re definitely a 10/10 company. The work they did on my house (screening my entryway and gutter work) came out beautiful. Better than I could imagine, I’m so happy I went with company.

I have hired Brownings twice now, once to install gutters and yesterday to screen in my lanai. They did a great job on my gutters but CJ out did himself on my lanai! It turned out better than my expectations and I can't recommend them enough! I may do a birdcage down the road and they will be the company I pick for sure!!!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does lanai screen last in Florida?

In Marion County’s climate, expect 7 to 12 years before screens need replacing. Sun exposure, pet damage, and storm activity all affect lifespan. The aluminum frame itself typically lasts 25 to 30+ years.

What's the difference between a lanai and a pool enclosure?

A lanai is a screened porch or covered patio attached to the home. A pool enclosure (pool cage) is a larger aluminum structure that wraps your pool and pool deck — usually a freestanding cage. Many Florida homes have both, and we build both.

Do you use subcontractors?

No. Every job is completed by our own experienced, in-house team. You’ll always know who’s working on your home.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Ocala and surrounding Central Florida communities, including Belleview, The Villages, Dunnellon and Summerfield.

Do you offer residential & commercial services?

Yes, with over 10 years of experience serving both residential and commercial clients, we know what works and deliver customized solutions to meet your gutter needs.
